Bering Sea

As with everyone else, I have decided to make a web site for things I am interested in, the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska (Arctic Ocean to come soon) and share them with you rather than being a passer along-er; you know, pass information along. Oh, I will still be doing that since that's how news is, but I also wanted to write stuff and let you know through twitter or facebook where you can find the information.

This will take me some time to build, but I am excited about it.

 I love the Bering Sea/Gulf of Alaska. The Bering Sea is my home, having grown up on St. George Island, one of the Pribilof Islands. St. George was and still is a natural. It is a wonderful place to grow up and still is a wonderful place to live.

You may know that I work as the Alaska Oceans Campaigner for Greenpeace USA. I cannot tell you how wonderful this job is. I get paid for doing something I really love. Isn't that interesting?

Anyway, this is a beginning. Take a look around. There isn't much right now, but we are adding as time permits. Who knows, we might learn something.
